There is plenty to do on Lanzarote, whatever your interests.....
Upon arrival you will find a folder of helpful information in the apartment. The main tourist attractions are like most of the Island – unique and well-worth visiting - assuming you can tear yourself away from the pool and beaches! In particular, don’t miss the Volcanoes National Park, the Cesar Manrique Foundation, the Sunday market at Teguise, La Geria, The Valley of a Thousand Palms, and the absolutely amazing Mirador del Rio – which offers spectacular views of La Graciosa - the small island to the north of Lanzarote.
This isn't something we generally do on vacation, but you really should take bus tours. There is one tour that does the entire island in one day, but in honesty, it doesn't do anything justice... too rushed, and not enough stops. So if you don't rent a car, we would recommend taking both the North Island tour, and the South Island tour on two different days. I have listed the cost of entrance to each place, but if you are on a bus tour, the entrance is generally included in the ticket price.
